An aluminum alloy with improved qualities as compared to conventional alloys. Its mechanical density is comparable to steel, but it weighs only one third of steel. The poles series are corrosion resistant , light and durable.

Duolock - the  internal adjusting mechanism

It takes one turn to adjust and secure the length of the pole. This adjusting system - exclusive for Komperdell - guarantees 80% more stability with the same lock power. The parallel tension which the expander exercises inside the tube results in 80% more stability. This mechanism is temperature-proof and maintenance-free. Because it's permanently fixed to the tube, the expander cannot get lost.
