No more Davy Jones Locker for your expensive shades! Manufactured from superior grade, high buoyancy, neoprene the hides™ H2O provides floatation for most sunglasses and eyewear. The hides™ H2O also converts into a separate, floating, protective case that can be used for a separate pair of glasses, to protect a dive watch or as a low stress buoyant tie down.

In addition the hides™ H2O features our IEJ technology allowing added security when the case is removed and the retainer is used in extreme sport, high endurance activities, racing and where bodily inversion may occur. While the high grade neoprene offers excellent floatation, it does not match the superior lens cleaning characteristics of the DuPont™ microfiber as featured in all other hides™ models.

DuPont™ microfiber offers the ideal combination of lightweight, elasticity, comfort, memory retention, ink adhesion, softness, multi-material lens cleaning ability, washability and overall durability required for our customers’ demanding applications. The high buoyancy neoprene, though not providing the superior lens cleaning characteristics of DuPont™ microfiber, does offer excellent floatation properties. The surgical-grade rubber tubing allows all hides™ models to snugly and securely fit a very wide array of eyewear styles.

The secret behind hides™ products is the Double Roll Technology. The Double Roll Technology enhances the natural memory and elasticity characteristics of the DuPont™ microfiber resulting in an eyewear case/cleaner that quickly and effortlessly rolls back into shape after each use.

The Impact Expansion Joint (IEJ) is an additional feature incorporated into models designed for extreme sports, high endurance activities, racing and bodily inversion activities. The IEJ acts like a shock absorber on a car and ensures additional security should a high impact situation occur.
